Register for the 50th Hog Day Stampede before August 16th; the entry fee increases on August 16th

The 50th Annual Hog Day Stampede returns on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Kewanee YMCA, 315 W. First Street, featuring events for runners and walkers of all ages.

The event includes a 4-Mile Run beginning at 8 AM, a Kids ¼-Mile Fun Run for children ages 7 and under at 9:30 a.m., and a 1-Mile Run/Fitness Walk at 9:45 AM. Registration is $30 for the 4-mile event and $20 for the 1-mile event through August 15th, with prices increasing afterward. The Kids Fun Run is free. Participants who register before the T-shirt deadlines will receive an event shirt, and all paid entrants are eligible for door prizes.

The 4-mile race offers cash prizes, plaques, and Breedlove gift certificates for top overall finishers, top Kewanee finishers, and age-group winners, while the 1-mile event awards the top three finishers in each youth age group. Packet pickup will be held Friday, September 4, at Breedlove’s Printing Store or on race day at the YMCA.
