Sarah Titlow has been named the new Director at the Kewanee Food Pantry
The Kewanee Food Pantry has named Sarah Titlow as its new director. A longtime volunteer with deep ties to the organization, Sarah grew up helping at the pantry alongside her parents, Gordon and Sandy Vickrey, and recently returned to volunteer following the passing of former director Lisa Janey.
After retiring from Kewanee High School following a 34-year teaching career, Titlow says she is committed to serving the community and working with volunteers to continue meeting the growing need for food assistance. The Kewanee Food Pantry provides monthly food support to local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, with a mission to strengthen neighbors through dignity, compassion, and reliable access to nutritious food.
“I am very aware of the need for the Kewanee Food Pantry and how our community relies on it,” said Sarah. “I look forward to working with this great group of volunteers and learning more about how we can continue to help Kewanee residents.”
The Kewanee Food Pantry is located at 924 Rose Street. Stay up-to-date with the Kewanee Food Pantry on their “Facebook” page or website.
