The Rock Falls Police Department is inviting its citizens to an educative and interactive seven-week program, Citizen Police Academy. Sessions are scheduled for every Wednesday starting from March 6th to April 17th, beginning promptly at 6:00 pm.
The program is designed to grant participants a basic understanding of how their local law enforcement operates. Presentations will be made by the Chief of Police, Detectives, K9 Officer, and Patrol Officers. Topics include crime scene processing, firearms usage, DUI enforcement, and an in-depth look into day-to-day police operations.
