Centennial Park in Rock Falls (508 E. 11th Street) will shine bright for the third consecutive holiday season as visitors will enjoy festive light displays put together by local businesses, schools, and organizations. The event will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5:30pm to 8:30pm, beginning Friday, November 25th through Friday, December 23rd. Free admission / donations are welcome.
New this year will be carriage rides and walk-throughs on Sunday, November 27th and Friday, December 9th. No vehicles will be allowed to drive through. You are asked to park on the side streets and walk to the Little Schoolhouse for the carriage rides and walk-through. The carriage rides are on a first come – first serve basis and last carriage ride will be at 8:15pm.
The weekend of December 9th-11th, donations of canned food will be collected at the entrance and donated to the Sauk Valley Food Bank.
