SHARE NOW

As people prepare to set out to view the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is sending out a reminder that that is also the first day of spring turkey hunting season. Officials are asking both eclipse viewers and turkey hunters to be mindful of each other. Officials are asking eclipse visitors to state parks to park in designated lots, and not spots designated for hunters.
