The City of Rock Falls has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY in preparation for a significant winter storm expected later this week.
This SNOW EMERGENCY will be in effect beginning at 12:00pm (noon) on Thursday, December 22, 2022, and will remain in effect until 12:00pm (noon) on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
All snow route and snow emergency parking restrictions will be in effect throughout the duration of the snow emergency declaration. With the forecast for snow, high winds, and dangerously cold temperatures expect significant impacts to travel locally and regionally. Be prepared for potential power outages.
