The City of Rock Falls is declaring a SNOW EMERGENCY effective Thursday, February 16th, at 12:00pm through Friday, February 17th, at 5:00pm.
All Snow Route and Odd/Even parking restrictions will be in effect during this time frame. Residents are reminded to keep the roads cleared for crews so they can complete the snow removal in a safe and timely manner.
Current forecasts are calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow, with a possibility of up to 8 inches, in addition to 30-35 mile per hour winds.
Motorists are asked to allow extra travel time and expect less than ideal road conditions during this winter weather event.
