The Illinois Broadband Lab, a collaboration between the Illinois Office of Broadband and University of Illinois System, invites residents and local organizations in Northwest Illinois to in-person listening session in Morrison on Wednesday, May 10th. The event will give the public a forum for asking questions and providing input about the region’s most urgent needs and priorities related to high-speed internet connectivity and access.

Whiteside County Economic Development Director Gary Camarano said, “This is an important part of the broadband fiber deployment we have been working on. Input regarding bringing robust, reliable and affordable broadband connectivity from our local residents, businesses and organizations is a necessary step in the process, and an essential part of the securing of funding for bringing broadband fiber to Northwest Illinois and Whiteside County. We strongly urge residents to come out and participate in this listening session.”
