Farmers throughout Illinois go to great lengths to preserve our soil and protect water quality. Illinois Farm Bureau staff wanted to go to those same great lengths to produce a video that showcases these efforts, the farmer spirit and the collaboration required to achieve the goals of the Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy.
Centered around the Ganschow family farm in Bureau County, the documentary called “Sustaining our Future: A Farm Family Story” illustrates how three generations of farmers have approached sustainability. To create this documentary, IFB video and environmental teams partnered with farmers, county Farm Bureaus, researchers, and other key stakeholders.
Come watch this beautifully illustrated documentary about how Michael, along with other Bureau County and Illinois Farmers, work to reduce nutrient loss on their farms in order to sustain a bright future.
