Seventeen East Campus Students Honored as 2026 Black Hawk College Founders Scholars

Seventeen East Campus students at Black Hawk College have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements during the 42nd Annual Founders’ Scholars Awards. This prestigious honor, named for campus founders Dr. Glenn Case, James Golby, Gust Lundberg, Theodore Vlahos, and Robert White, is presented by East Campus faculty. Eligibility requires a minimum 3.80 GPA, completion of 30 credits—with at least 12 at East Campus—and progress toward an associate degree. Honorees represent several states, including Illinois, Oklahoma, Iowa, Indiana, and Maryland. The ceremony celebrated these students’ dedication, as pictured in both front and back rows during the event.
