Spring Nature Journaling Workshops in Bureau County Invite All Ages to Explore the Outdoors

Illinois Master Naturalists are inviting individuals aged 12 and older to explore the outdoors through nature journaling workshops in Bureau County this spring. These interactive sessions offer a blend of observation, sketching, and personal reflection, helping participants connect with the natural world. The workshops are designed for both beginners and seasoned nature enthusiasts, aiming to foster a deeper appreciation for local environments. Space is limited, and registration is required. Bring a journal, pen, and seating for comfort; extra art supplies will be provided. Sessions are scheduled for March 28 at Dixon Waterfowl Refuge, April 25, and May 30 at Hennepin Canal.
