Kewanee Public Library Summer Reading Program Launches May 26, 2026

Kewanee Public Library is launching the “Plant a Seed, Read!” Summer Reading Program on Tuesday, May 26th, from 4 to 6 PM. All ages are invited to join an afternoon of adventure spread across all three floors of the library. The kickoff features a library-wide scavenger hunt focused on Illinois plants and animals, hands-on themed crafts, and a dedicated spot to register and set summer reading goals. Every participant receives prizes and library swag just for signing up. Whether young or young at heart, the program promises fun, learning, and a memorable start to the summer reading season.
