Kids get a unique opportunity to become caregivers for a day at Hammond-Henry Hospital’s Teddy Bear Clinic, set for Thursday, April 30. From 4:30 to 6:00 PM, young visitors can bring a beloved stuffed animal along for a special “check-up,” bandage, or even a tiny cast. The event welcomes PreK to 3rd-grade families, with siblings of all ages invited to join the fun. Hospital staff guide children on interactive tours designed to ease fears about medical visits while teaching the basics of health and safety. Admission is free, and families are encouraged to arrive before the last tour departs at 6:00 PM.
