In a visit to Illinois House of Representatives, Haley Gierach, a distinguished senior at AlWood High School, served as Page for a Day. Introduced by State Representative Dan Swanson, Gierach was able to glimpse the workings of the General Assembly. Swanson praised her interest in government, signaling a bright future for the active young woman. Gierach, a band, choir, theater participant, scholastic bowl competitor, yearbook and art club member, and treasurer of her school’s National Honor Society, plans to pursue communications at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater post-graduation.
