The agenda for the February 21st, 2024 Kewanee Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting has been released.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet in at 5:00 PM, Wednesday February 21, 2024. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at Kewanee City Hall, 401 East Third Street. There are two variance petitions upon which a hearing will be conducted. They is discussed below.
1: 221 Grier St., Marvin & Janet Stevenson, A variance to allow the construction of a garage and yard shed on an empty residential parcel AND a variance 15 feet to the required 30 feet front setback in a R-1 One-Family Dwelling District.
2: 224 West St. So., Colby & Caitlin Hathaway, A variance of 26’ to the required 30 feet front setback in a R-1 One-Family Dwelling District to allow the construction of a garage AND a variance of 12’ to the required 30 feet front setback in a R-1 One-Family Dwelling District to allow the construction of a room addition.
