Friend of the community and friend of WKEI radio, Brock Tumbleson, passed away over the weekend. Brock, a former Kewanee Citizen of the Year, has been a major part of the Kewanee community for most of his life. Whether it was working with Kiwanis or the Chamber of Commerce or his beloved Salvation Army, Brock was a consummate volunteer, dedicating endless hours, money, and effort to raising the profile of the Kewanee Salvation Army. The annual Salvation Army concert is a highlight of the holiday season and much of that is thanks to Brock’s effort. This morning on WKEI, Brock’s long time friend, Russ Hughes, joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to remember Brock Tumbleson.
