SRC Offers Beginners Crash Course to At Home Welding
The Spoon River College Office of Community Outreach is excited to offer a course called Beginners Crash Course to At Home Welding on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th from 6:00-8:00pm each evening.
Ready to start welding but don’t know where to begin? This beginner friendly course will teach you the essentials of welding safely using simple at home setups. By the end of the course you will be able to complete simple welding projects and have a solid foundation to build your skills upon. Students will learn the basics of welding on Friday and then participate in hands on activities on Saturday. Ages 16 and up (with parental permission).
The class will take place in the SRC Welding Lab located at 2500 E. Jackson Street in Macomb. There is a $60 course fee to attend and pre- registration is required. For more information or to register, call Spoon River College at 309-833-6031 or register online at src.augusoft.net.
