Severe weather is expected to impact our area on Tuesday afternoon and evening, prompting Wethersfield Community Unit School District #230 to cancel all after-school activities on March 10, 2026. The regular school day will proceed, but practices, events, clubs, and ABCD After School Care are suspended. The IESA Junior High Volleyball Regional game has been moved to Wednesday, following safety recommendations from IESA. Superintendent Dr. Andrew Brooks emphasizes that student, staff, and family safety are the top priority. Everyone is urged to plan and stay informed as these weather conditions develop. Further updates will be provided as necessary.

Dr. Andrew Brooks said, “We appreciate everyone planning ahead as the storm moves through the area. As always, the safety of our students, families, and staff remains our primary consideration when making these decisions.”
