OSF HealthCare has named Zach Yoder as president for three of its Western Region hospitals—Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee, and St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg—effective March 29, 2026. Yoder, an experienced leader with credentials in nursing and health administration, has previously served as interim president at OSF St. Mary Medical Center and OSF Holy Family Medical Center. Under his previous leadership at OSF Saint Anthony’s, the facility saw a notable increase in its CMS Star Rating from 2 to 3, received multiple Leapfrog Safety Grade A ratings, and earned its first-ever MAGNET accreditation with distinction. Yoder holds degrees in nursing and health administration, as well as a master’s in healthcare operational excellence. His educational background and experience position him as a strong leader for OSF’s continued growth and excellence.
With this leadership change, Jackie Kernan will now focus on Saint Katharine Medical Center in Dixon, while Lisa Schepers continues as interim president at Saint Anthony’s in Alton.
