Morrison Police
On Saturday, January 15th, at approximately 3:20 am, Morrison Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Wall and Base St. As a result of this investigation, Morrison Police arrested and charged Logan B. Henke, age 23 of Morrison, with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Disobeying a Traffic Control Device and Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor). Henke was transported to the Whiteside County Jail, processed, and released on a Notice to Appear in court. Morrison Police was assisted by the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
Sterling Police
On Wednesday, January 17th, Sterling Police responded to a welfare check on an individual at east 3rd and Broadway. Gerald G Cruse age 39, and determined homeless, was arrested on Henry and Bureau County Warrant’s, and transported to The Whiteside County Jail.
Also on Wednesday, Verlance D Hughes age 36 of Sterling, was arrested during a traffic stop at W. 6th and Ave G, on a Lee County Warrant. Hughes was transported to The Lee County Jail.
Dixon Police
Julie A. Robertson, age 34, of Dixon, Illinois, was arrested on the 100 block of Plaza Drive on January 17th, at 3:15 p.m. for an Ogle County Warrant for Burglary. Robertson was processed and taken to the Lee County Jail.
The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
