March 25
Officer was dispatched to 600 block of South Center Ave for a loose dog complaint. The dog was captured and later returned to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of West Division Street for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3rd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined the subject was having a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2nd Street for a smoke report. It was determined to be a wood burning stove.
March 26
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to give them a freedom of information form.
Officer assisted a citizen at the Galva PD after the subject missed a court date for a traffic offense. Officer assisted him with making a phone call to get the date re-scheduled.
Officer assisted the ambulance with an unresponsive patient in the 00 block of SW 4th Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 4th Ave for a criminal damage to property complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3rd Ave to remove an unwanted subject.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 3rd Ave for a criminal damage to property complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 1st Ave for a welfare check on a suicidal subject. As the result, Rochelle Owens, 34, Chicago, was arrested for a Wisconsin probation violation warrant. She was taken to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 1st Street for a loud vehicle complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a domestic disturbance. A subject was given a written banning letter and removed from the property.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on SW 4th Street for a juvenile having homicidal thoughts and refusing to return home. Officer was transported to the Galva PD to meet a crisis worker and then transported by ambulance for evaluation / treatment.
March 27
Officer was dispatched to the Galva PD to meet a subject that needed to pick up property left behind by a juvenile from last night.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 5th Ave to assist an elderly citizen who needed minor help an electronic that wasn’t working.
As the result of a traffic complaint in the 600 block of South Center Ave, Brandi York, 29, Galva, was arrested for driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle displaying expired Illinois registration. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a complaint of a banned subject that forced entry into an apartment. This remains under investigation.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street to assist IL DCFS.
March 28
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NW 4th Ave for several 9-1-1 hang up complaints. It was determined to be a call about a carbon monoxide detector going off. The fire department was contacted to investigate.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a welfare check on a juvenile. The juvenile was located and was taken home to a custodial parent.
March 29
While patrolling, officer saw a solicitor going door-to-door in the 500 and 600 block of NW 5th Street. As the result, Zachary Komorowski, 24, Green Bay, WI, was issued an administrative warning ticket (AWT) for soliciting without a permit.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4th Street for a civil property dispute.
While patrolling, officer observed young children playing close to the roadway in the 900 block of SE 2nd Street. Officer spoke to a parent and warned them to keep the children further away from the roadway.
March 30
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 1st Ave for a complaint involving a neighbor’s dog that attacked their dog. The victim dog was transported to an emergency vet clinic and the other dog owner agreed to pay any fees that were incurred.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1st Street for a missing 6 year old juvenile. The juvenile was found inside a parked car at a neighbor’s house.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3rd Street for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. It was determined to be a mental health crisis.
March 31
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of County Highway 5 for a reckless driving complaint. A subject was reportedly “mudding in the ditch.” A report was written and forwarded to the State’s Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 5th Street for a loose dog complaint. Officer was not able to locate.

March 30
Scott Apodaca, 60, Galesburg, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1000 block of North Center Ave.
March 31
Shauna Gallardo, 54, Atkinson, was issued a citation for speeding in the 1100 block of SE 2nd Street.
