On Friday, September 8th , at approximately 5:36 pm the Morrison Police Department received a retail theft complaint at Dollar General (633 E. Lincolnway). During the investigation it was discovered Amanda McNamara, age 39, from Morrison, IL, knowingly and without legal justification permanently deprived the Dollar General of their merchandise without paying the retail price. Ms. McNamara was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Wednesday, September 13th , at approximately 2:28 am, the Morrison Police Department conducted a check on two suspicious subjects at Casey’s General Store (602 E. Lincolnway). During the investigation it was discovered Georgina Lawrence, Age 40, from Davenport, IA, was unlawfully in possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Lawrence was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
