Schuyler County Sheriff Report for June 22nd
Schuyler County deputies logged a busy week on local roads. Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports two deer strikes and one single-vehicle accident. Deputies also cited two drivers for speeding on Route 67, including one clocked at 91 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone. In all, deputies patrolled more than 2,700 miles across the county and issued six warnings.
The sheriff’s office is reminding drivers to slow down, stay alert for deer—especially around dawn and dusk—and use extra caution as changing weather and seasonal wildlife movement can create sudden hazards on rural roads.
