Schuyler County Sheriff’s for March 10th

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly activity report for March 2nd through March 9th. Multiple speeding citations were issued, notably including drivers clocked as high as 88 mph in 55 mph zones. Emmanuel Concepicon Rodriguez faced additional charges for operating an uninsured vehicle.

Arrests included Matthew Curtis and Jaron Mathena, both held on no bond warrants, while Hailey Martin and Kristen Vidak were taken in on warrants and later released. Sheriff deputies also performed six verbal warnings, served legal documents, assisted other agencies, and patrolled over 2,400 miles, with the daily jail detainee count averaging eleven.

When there is a Tornado Warning for Schuyler County, meaning there has been a visual sighting of a funnel cloud/tornado by 1st responders or conditions are favorable for a tornado the Tornado Sirens will be activated, the siren will sound for approximately 2 minutes, please seek shelter immediately.

There will be siren testing on the 1st Tuesday of each month but will not sound for 2 minutes, this is to make certain that all sirens are in working order.
