The much-anticipated annual event marking the arrival of spring in the Illinois Valley commenced this past weekend. Over a hundred young players, energized and eager, gathered for the Illinois Valley Community College’s Eagles Softball Clinic. Under the guidance of the Eagles Women’s Softball team and their Coach Cory Tomasson, these young talents honed their skills in batting, base running, throwing, and fielding. The clinic, now in its 25th year, continues to gain popularity and grow in the number of participants each year.
