Senior Larissa Meyer of the Kewanee BoilerGirls was the stand out over the weekend as the Kewanee Girls Basketball team defeated Riverdale, 48 to 36. Meyer scored a team leading 15 points, 8 of which came in the fourth quarter, to lead the way to a BoilerGirls win. Emma Crofton added 10 points and Mya Dearing added 9 points in the win. With the win, Kewanee improved to 3 and 7 on the season. The Kewanee Girls are now off until after Christmas when they return to action in tournament play against an as yet undetermined opponent on December 28th.
