Recent traffic incidents and law enforcement activities have highlighted a surge in vehicular offenses in our region. Over the past week, several drivers, including Matthew Hochgraber and Karolyn Alcequiec-Perez, were cited for exceeding the speed limit by over 20 mph in 55 mph zones. Meanwhile, more serious offenses were noted as Cody Hendrix faced citations for driving with a suspended license and drug-related charges.
Additionally, a concerning accident involving a juvenile driver in Rushville resulted in a vehicle overturn, sending all occupants to local hospitals. Local authorities remind all drivers to observe speed limits, especially during the ongoing harvest season, to ensure safety for all road users.
