The Kewanee Boilermakers Cross Country team participated in the Bureau Valley “Dale Doner” Invitational on September 21, 2024. Cambridge Varsity Gir’s placed third, and Toulon was close behind in fourth. They play next on Tuesday, September 25th, at Baker Park in Kewanee.

“Kewanee Boilermakers competed at the Dale Donner Invitational Saturday, for the boys Jason Rusk finished in 60th with a time of 19:24 and Hunter Vance finished 78th with a time of 20:07. On the girls side Nolie Charlet finished 36th with a time of 22:48, Alejandra Martinez was 62nd in 24:24 and Tiffany Helton finished 177th in a time of 34:54. Kewanee hosts a home meet Tuesday at Baker Park.”
Around the area for Varsity Girls, Emily Downing from Cambridge was in second place with a time of 18:18.90, and Jana Vande Kemp got eighth place with a time of 20:03.50. Dusti Smith from Toulon got sixth place with a time of 19:49.40.
Around the area for Varsity Boys, Dawson Medley from Cambridge got 23rd place with a time of 16:26.00.
