Two Kewanee High School athletes made history at the Rosenberry Meet on April 2nd at Westwood Center. Junior Jendayia Crowe shattered the varsity indoor 60-meter hurdles school record, clocking in at 10.22 seconds. This performance earns her the top spot in Kewanee High’s all-time indoor list for the event. Meanwhile, Mekya Powe set a new freshman/sophomore record in the same event with a time of 10.98 seconds, ranking her third all-time in school history. Their achievements highlight the talent and determination of Kewanee’s track and field program. Congratulations to both on an outstanding day.
