Princeton Tigers Cross County Defeat Kewanee at Princeton Dual

Excitement ruled at Zearing Park as Princeton clinched victories over Kewanee in both boys’ and girls’ cross country duals, each decided by forfeit. Augustus Swanson paced the boys’ field, finishing first in 18:16 for three miles. Brady Gross impressed with a personal best at 20:06. On the girls’ side, Ruby Acker and Payton Frueh secured a Princeton sweep, finishing first and second. Coach Pat Hodge highlighted strong efforts from Augustus, Ruby, and Payton, with special mention for Brady’s standout improvement. Princeton’s depth was evident with several personal and season bests recorded during the meet.
