Princeton Tiger Cross Country Geneseo Invitational Results

The Geneseo Invitational delivered impressive cross-country performances, with Morton’s boys dominating three underclass divisions and Geneseo’s seniors clinching their group. Owen Riesburg led Morton’s freshmen, conquering a hilly course in 16:37. Rock Island runners Nolan Jarod and Elliott Batz each captured individual titles as sophomores and juniors, with Batz clocking an impressive 15:38. On the girls’ side, Wheaton/Warrenville South secured multiple team titles, and Princeton saw standout efforts. Ruby Acker achieved a season-best for Princeton’s junior girls, and Susanna Bohms notched a personal best among sophomores. Coach Patrick Hodge praised his athletes’ resilience and strong individual performances despite injury setbacks.
