Steak Fry for Agriculture
The annual Steak Fry, formerly known as Steak in the Country, returns August 6th, with a new host organization: the Whiteside County Farm Bureau Foundation. The event supports agriculture education through scholarships, grants to local FFA chapters, 4-H clubs, Agriculture in the Classroom, and more.
It will be held at Ted and Jill Jacobs Farm, 6700 Hickory Hills Road in Rock Falls. Happy hour runs from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the dessert auction and dinner.
