What’s New in Morrison
Morrison City Council reviewed plans for a proposed 10-foot-wide asphalt transportation path that would connect the city to the Morrison Sports Complex, aiming to improve access for walkers, cyclists, and families heading to events.
The council also voted to establish a utility billing statement processing fee, which is scheduled to take effect October 1st, 2026. Details on the fee amount and implementation will follow as the date approaches.
In other action, council members approved Ordinance 26-13 on a 5-to-2 vote, granting a special use permit for 5 Star Landscaping at 903 West Morris Street, the former Morrison Country Club property.
