The Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees recently awarded tenure to five faculty members from the nursing, welding, and mathematics departments. The faculty, commended by the department for their unwavering dedication and significant contributions to the college and community, include Theresa Molln, Chrissy Boughton, Cathy Lenkaitis, Samantha Whiteaker, and Emily Morgan. College President Dr. Tracy Morris acknowledged the faculty’s dedication during a reception, praising their dedication inside and outside the classroom. Each faculty member’s influence and impact, from setting up food cabinets to organizing charity drives and revitalizing course content, were acknowledged. Their dedication to both their students and their community truly exemplifies the values of Illinois Valley Community College.
