The Illinois Valley Community College Welding Department is hosting three registration sessions on March 5, April 16, and May 14. All sessions will take place at the Main Campus at 5 p.m. New welding students must register through these information sessions. They offer an opportunity to sign up for spring, summer, or fall courses. The college’s welding program accommodates all skill levels, from beginners to experienced industry employees. Information sessions are held just down the hall from the Admissions Department, so prospective students can register and enroll all at once. No previous welding experience is necessary, and instructors work to find the best fit for students at whatever stage they enter the program, said Program Coordinator Theresa Molln.
