The Kewanee girls track and field squad celebrated an impressive night at the April 9th Quint Meet, earning third place overall and tallying a remarkable 15 personal bests. Competing against Rowva/Williamsfield, Sterling Newman, Monmouth-Roseville, and St. Bede, standout performances included Jendayia Crowe’s first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a new personal best of 16.89 seconds and Damaris Diaz’s strong shot put throw at 10.3 meters. The relay teams also delivered, with the 4x400m and 4x800m squads both taking home second-place finishes. Kewanee continues its season with momentum and promising results.
