After splitting four games at the Geneseo Holiday tournament, the regular season tips off on the road tonight for the Kewanee Boys Basketball team. Stars Braden Clark and Blaise Lewis lead the Boilermakers to Dixon tonight for a 7 PM tip off against the 3 and 0 Dixon Dukes. Dixon comes into the game on a hot streak having blown out Illinois Valley Central in their season opener last week, 66 to 45. They then played a holiday doubleheader as they survived a tough East Peoria team, 65 to 63 and finished the day with a blowout win against Pekin 50 to 27.

Kewanee enters the game following a tournament final loss to Rock Falls in Geneseo, 68 to 61. That loss however, came after back to back dominant wins against Erie Prophetstown, 62 to 33, and tourney hosts Geneseo 59 to 27. Tonight’s game will not be broadcast on WKEI. The next time you hear Kewanee Boys Basketball will be on Friday, December 1st, when Kewanee plays host to Quest Charter Academy. Game time is 7 PM on Friday night on WKEI RegionalMediaNews.com.
