The Kewanee Chamber of Commerce is raising funds for a special fireworks display for America’s 250th birthday.

Kewanee’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show is set for Saturday, July 4th, at Northeast Park, marking the America 250 Celebration and honoring 250 years of national history and hometown pride. The community-funded event is facing higher costs from tariffs, transportation, and inflation, and organizers are asking businesses and residents to help. Donations can be sent or dropped off at the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce, 113 East 2nd Street. Supporters can also round up grocery purchases at Kewanee Save-A-Lot. Timeout Pub & Grub will host its 3rd Annual Pedal Party July 25th, with all proceeds supporting the fireworks fund.
