Kids Enjoyed the Kewanee Park District Easter Egg Hunt Despite the Cold Temp

The cold temperatures didn’t keep people away from the yearly Easter egg hunt at Windmont Park.  Kids of all ages waited in line to see the Easter bunny.  Park Board members and staff traded Easter eggs from the kids for candy. Director Andy Dwyer said the number of kids was down this year, which may have been because of the cold.  The leftover candy will be donated to churches in Kewanee. Thank you to the Kewanee Park District for hosting the yearly Easter egg hunt.
