Miss World Festival Queens are accepting donations of teddy bears or new toys for their yearly Toy Drive through December 15, 2023. The organization collects toys and donations to kick off the holiday giving season and delivers the toys to children in the Children’s Hospital of Illinois (St. Jude Midwest Affiliate). Jeanna Moore said “This is a beautiful event and one of our favorite things to do every year. The joy we see that comes from this would melt your heart!” Jeanne Moore said it is worth every penny to give these kids a day to not think about their illness. She said “We are blessed with some incredible young ladies and families in our court that are really working hard to bring in a great haul this year to (CHOI) Children’s Hospital of Illinois.” Jeanna said the organization is blessed to have people who donate every year and said they are “blessed with their kindness”. “You know who you are and we are grateful for your support every year.” If you would like to donate, visit their Facebook Page or call Jeanna Moore at 309-540-8588 or Stephanie Smith at 309-883-9031.
