At the Silver Streak Invitational held at Monmouth College, the Princeton girls’ track team earned 12th place out of more than 17 schools, tallying 10 points. Highlights include Jocelyn Strouss securing fifth in the 800-meter run with a personal best of 2:31.42. The 4×800 relay team, featuring Leila Acker, Alexandra Waca, Avery Waca, and Lenora Hopkins, also finished fifth with a season-best 11:13.96. Annie Thompson took eighth in pole vault with a meet personal best, while the 4×400 relay team placed eighth. Multiple team members achieved new personal records, reflecting strong individual progress across events.

“A fine performance from our team. We were missing a few girls, but saw a lot of personal bests or season bests and a couple of PHS Meet Bests. We competed very well. Jocelyn continues to cut her time in the 800 down bit by bit. Even without her, our 4 x 800 did an excellent job with Alexandra and Lenora having personal best splits. It was also very nice to see the Waca sisters both get personal bests in the 1600.” Pat Hodge-Princeton Coach
