    Eastern Iowa, Northwest Illinois, Northeast Missouri, Southwest Wisconsin
    EFFECTIVE
    This Saturday afternoon from 555 PM until Midnight CDT.
    THREATS
    A couple tornadoes possible, Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely, Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible
    SITUATION
    Thunderstorms will gradually develop this evening and spread into the Watch area. Large hail, damaging gusts, and a few tornadoes are possible with the stronger supercells and embedded thunderstorm clusters. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles west of Burlington IA to 55 miles east southeast of Dubuque IA.     PRECAUTIONS
    A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.

Business Employment Skills Team, Inc. (BEST, Inc.) will be hosting a Veterans Resource Event on Friday, March 8th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Oregon BEST Office located at inside the Rock River Center at 810 S. 10th Street, Oregon, Illinois 61061.

Agencies that will be participating in this event include: Jack Kromer, IDES Veteran’s Career Coach (VCC), Elisabeth Henson, Veterans Employment Readiness Specialist, from Goodwill. Luz Gilkey, of the Ogle County Veterans Assistance Commission and Tammy Nehrkorn, BSR at BEST, Inc.
