On Sunday, December 25th, at approximately 6:00 pm Whiteside County Deputies responded to a single vehicle traffic crash , on Il Rt 84 south of Covell Road in rural Fulton . It was determined a single vehicle traveling northbound struck a female pedestrian.
The female was transport to Mercy Hospital in Clinton and was pronounced dead. At this time the Identity of the female is unknown and it is believed she is not from the area . The crash remains under investigation. More information will be released following the investigation.
