Flock Camera Use Still Under Discussion in Sterling
Complaints over Sterling’s license plate reader cameras are continuing to surface at City Council meetings. The Flock camera system has drawn concerns from residents questioning privacy, data use, and the scope of police surveillance.
At the same time, Sterling has been awarded a grant aimed at retail theft prevention. City officials say those funds could potentially be used to strengthen public safety efforts, including a possible expansion of the camera network.
