The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office announced that it made zero DUI arrests and issued zero seat belt citations during the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement period. Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies issued three (3) citations for Speeding. Deputies made a total of twelve (12) traffic stops.
“We strongly enforce traffic laws for one reason – to save lives,” said Sheriff John F. Booker.
The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign.
The St. Patrick’s Day enforcement campaign was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
