Memorial Hospital Offers Summer Community Health Screening

Memorial Hospital’s Health & Wellness Center will offer a summer Community Health Screening on Thursday, July 23rd. For just $25 per registrant, participants will receive valuable preventive health services, including: A1c Testing, Lipid Panel, Body Composition Analysis (Tanita Scale), and Hearing Screening.

Following the screening, attendees can enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the hospital’s Courtyard Café.

“These screenings are a service to our community,” said Kayce Fuhrman, Director of Diabetes Services at Memorial Hospital. “We offer these screenings at a low price, along with a free breakfast, to encourage individuals to be proactive about their health and wellness.”

This event is available to the public, but participants must register and pay in advance. Due to limited availability, early registration is encouraged. Participants should also note that fasting for 10 to 12 hours before the lipid panel is required to ensure accurate results.

The screenings will take place at Memorial Hospital’s Health & Wellness Center, located at 1454 N. Co. Rd. 2050, Carthage, IL, on the hospital campus.

Interested individuals can register by visiting MHTLC.ORG or by calling 217-357-6540.
