On Wednesday, August 2nd , at approximately 7:23 pm, the Morrison Police Department served a valid warrant in the 100 block W. Main St. Matt McCole, age 41, from Morrison, had a warrant for Failure to Appear/Threatening a Public Official. Mr. McCole was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
On Friday, August 4th , at approximately 3:20 am officers received an aggravated battery complaint at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds. During the investigation it was discovered James Kmoch, age 57, from Champaign, IL, battered the victim during a verbal argument. Mr. Kmoch was taken into custody and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
