The Kewanee Boilermakers Varsity and JV Soccer fell to the Sterling Golden Warriors on Saturday, September 14th, in Sterling. Alonso Corral scored a goal for the Varsity team and Demarion Thomas scored a goal for the JV team. Dillon Price had 13 saves, and the Boilermakers attempted six goals.

The boilermakers paid the visit to Sterling Golden Warriors on Saturday morning.
Sterling looked very strong making the Kewanee defense work early in the game. Kewanee was playing hard with the mentality of winning, but it was Sterling who scored first.
The Golden Warriors scored five times, the Boilermakers had 6 good arrivals to the sterling goal, almost scoring every single time, almost at the end of the game, Alonso Corral passed all the defense like he had done it a couple of times earlier, but these time he scored moving the score 1-5.
