This is the last week to sign up your children for the Kewanee Salvation Army Angel Tree. You can pick up an application at The Salvation Army in Kewanee, located at 119 N. Tremont Street. Children from 1-13 years of age are eligible for the Angel Tree. Applications are due this Friday, December 1, 2023, and all you need to bring is your driver’s license and the medical card for your child. Time may be running out to turn in your application for an Angel on the Angel Tree but you still have time to fulfill an Angel from the Angel Tree. All you need to do is select an Angel from the tree, shop for the items on the Angel, and turn the Angel into the Salvation Army, Amber Patch-Troxell Insurance Agency, or HRD Tack Shop (405 Tenney Street). Angel Trees are located at Kewanee Wal-Mart, Kewanee Banks, and the Kewanee YMCA. You can also mail or drop off donations to Amber Patch-Troxel Farmer’s Insurance, 237 Tenney Street, Kewanee, IL 61443.
