The annual Friends of the Animals craft fair is tomorrow, February 24, 2024, from 9 AM to 2 PM, at the American Legion, located at 1509 Railroad Avenue, Kewanee. The craft fair is the big fundraiser for the Friends of the Animals group each year. Friends of the Animals uses the donations to help people with emergency vet bills, vaccinations, and spay/neuter. Instead of the regular 50/50 drawing, a gnome from Tim Bryner Chainsaw Carvings and two pieces of wood art from Luann White will be raffled in the future to assist Steve and Peggy Faber with the expenses associated with Steven’s double-lung transplant. The following vendors will be onsite tomorrow: Purple Owl, Glass by Sue, Paparazzi, Mee to Youee, Tupperware, BV Jewelry Designs, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, and Danielles Sweets & Treats Shoppe.
